Well, things are about to jump up a notch as the pattern is about to get active. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to move into the area tonight and there will be several rounds between tonight and the beginning of next week.
Of particular interest/concern is the potential for the round of storms on Friday night to be severe. Right now it appears that all modes of severe weather may be possible including large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes.
Things will probably change between now and then so stay weather aware and perhaps take this time to review your severe weather safety plan.
