On May 2nd around 10 am deputies patrolling the Amoret area made a traffic stop on a subject that had active warrants for his arrest. The subject was Robert D. Gillispie of Amoret, Missouri.
This subject along with several others were being investigated for drug trafficking of methamphetamines and marijuana.
Mr. Gillespie’s residence was the subject of a narcotics search warrant in the week prior by the Drug Taskforce Deputies and the Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team.
Todays traffic stop took 1/2 lb of marijuana, trafficking amount of methamphetamines and a couple thousand dollars in cash off the street.
Mr. Gillispie was arrested for several failure to appear in court warrants for the following:

Mr. Gillispie was arrested for several failure to appear in court warrants for the following:
1.) Unlawful Possession of a Firearm ( $2,500 cash only bond)
2.) Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia - Prior Drug Offender ($2,500 cash only bond)
3.) Delivery of controlled substance (35 grams of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid. ($2,500 cash only bond)
Additional charges are being submitted to the Bates County Prosecutors Office resulting from the traffic stop.
