Lees Summit man seriously injured in accident near Warsaw

On May 14th around 7:23 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Benton County along with Benton County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a accident near the area of 25923 Macks Camp Road near Warsaw, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2014 Yamaha driven by 45 year old Corey W. Wheeler of Lees Summit, Missouri lost control, overcorrected and overturned.

Mr. Wheeler sustained serious injuries and he was transported by Life Flight Eagle to KU Medical Center for treatment.
