Burglary arrested made in Cedar County

Between June 6th and June 8th five burglaries and thefts were reported in Stockton. Laundry on the Lake, Squeeze Inn, Stockton Clipper, Mppressions hair salon and Jeni Cully & associates real estate all reported burglaries.

On June 8, 2022 an investigation conducted by the Cedar County Sheriffs Office resulted in the arrest of Eric Shipley of Stockton. 

A search warrant was served at a residence in Stockton and evidence connected to the burglaries was recovered, along with stolen cash. Request for charges was sent to Cedar County Prosecuting Attorney Ty Gaither.

Shipley has been charged with five counts of 2nd degree burglary, stealing and property damage. He is currently in Cedar Co jail on $50,000 bond.
