The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2004 Ford Taurus driven by 47 year old Chester E. Taylor of Wichita, Missouri was traveling eastbound on MO-52 when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and became airborne, vehicle then struck a tree, the ground and another tree before overturning.
Mr. Taylor sustained serious injuries and he was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
Mr. Taylor received tickets from the Missouri State Highway Patrol for the following charges:
1.) Driving While Suspended
2.) Driving While Intoxicated - Drugs & Alcohol
3.) Careless and Imprudent Driving
