Two seriously injured after Cass County crash

On July 13th around 5:40 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident on O'Bannon Road just north of CR 285th in rural Cass County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the southbound 2012 Chevrolet driven by 33 year old Jacob S. Granger of Garden City, Missouri crossed the center of the roadway and was travelling in the wrong lane when he struck the westbound 2012 Chevrolet driven by a 17 year old juvenile female from Garden City.

Both the juvenile female and Mr. Granger sustained serious injuries and both were transported by air ambulance to Kansas City area hospitals for treatment.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by J's Southland Tow.
