Two vehicle accident this morning in rural Butler

On September 30th around 7:25 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies and Bates County EMS responded to a two vehicle accident on 52 Highway just west of CR NW 591 in rural Butler.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2003 Oldsmobile Alero driven by a 16 year old juvenile female from Butler turned left from a private driveway onto Mo-52 striking the west bound 2002 Ford Escape driven by Patricia I. Watson of Butler, Missouri.

Both the juvenile female and Mrs. Watson sustained minor injuries and both were checked out at Bates County Memorial Hospital.

The wrecked vehicles were towed from the scene of this accident by Douty's Tow of Butler.
