Butler man injured after Bates County crash

On September 30th around 9:59 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies and Bates County EMS responded to a one vehicle accident on Missouri 52 West Highway just west of CR NW 591 in rural Bates County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the westbound 1996 Jeep Cherokee driven by 65 year old David W. Weiss of Butler, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Mr. Weiss sustained moderate injuries and he was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.

The Jeep was totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by Don's Tow of Butler.
