The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the northbound 1995 Ford Explorer driven by 92 year old Betty L. Donnell of Butler was unable to maintain a lane and attempted to come to a stop on the interstate. She was rear ended by a 2015 Peterbilt driven by 52 year old Jeffrey A. Richie of Farmersville, Texas.
Betty L. Donnell sustained minor injuries and she was transported by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
