A visitation will be held prior to the service Saturday from 10 am to 11 am, also at the church. Inurnment will follow in West Point Cemetery, Amsterdam, Missouri.

Jane Ellen Hartman Lane was born May 25, 1933 in Louisburg, Kansas. The daughter of Charles and Ethel Carter Hartman. She was a graduate of Drexel High School, the Salutatorian of her Class in 1951. Jane married Harold Lane in July 1951. They lived in Drexel and Amsterdam, MO. Harold passed away in June 2000, just 3 days before their 49thanniversary. She moved to Butler in 2013.
Jane was preceded in death by Harold, one son, Davy in 2005. one granddaughter and one grandson, her parents, brother J.E., 1 sister Mary Jo Poindexter and husband, Philip, and brother-in-law, Ernie Fink.
She is survived by sisters, Anna Marie Fink, and Jeanie(Earl) Brewster, her five: children, Katie(Steve) Boffman, D(Star) Lane of Drexel, Susie (Paul) French, Bonnie(Shan)Julien, Sheryl Lane of Butler, Dorine Lancaster of Amsterdam; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, and lots of nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered for having Sunday dinner for the family every week for over 50 years; albeit the last few years with lots of help from Susie.
