Tommy Allen Hogan, age 48, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 9, 2023.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Following services, Tommy’s family will be hosting a celebration of his life for family and friends at Cass County Elks Lodge, 2402 Rte 291, Harrisonville, Missouri 64701.
Tommy was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas on April 15, 1974 to Paul Hogan and Peggy (Falkner) Hogan. After graduating high school from North High School (Des Moines, Iowa), Tommy enlisted in the United States Air Force, honorably serving his country for seven years. In the winter of 1996, Tommy was joined in marriage with his wife Melissa on December 16th in Alexandria, Virginia. Their union was blessed with three daughters. Throughout his life, He spent his time working on the railroad as a signal maintainer. Tommy was a proud and active member of the VFW Post 5789. In life he loved cooking for his family and was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the rest of the metro sports teams. He enjoyed watching reruns of M.A.S.H, going fishing, and spending time with his family. He never knew a stranger, everyone was a friend.
Tommy was preceded in death by his brother, David Hogan; maternal grandparents, Robert and Norma Falkner; and paternal grandparents, Thomas Hogan and Patsy Cassady.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Melissa Hogan; three daughters, Kailee, Ashley, and Amanda Hogan; parents, Paul and Peggy Hogan; brother, Paul Hogan (Carla); and three nephews, Liam, David, and Zane.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to VFW Post 5789, 329 SE Douglas St. Lee’s Summit, Missouri 64063.
