Accident this afternoon in Archie

On February 6th around 1:25 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with the Archie Police Department responded to a one vehicle rollover accident in the city limits of Archie at Route A and 5th Street.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the eastbound 2014 Ford Fusion driven by 25 year old Mackenzie R. Martin of Kansas City, Missouri traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a culvert. The vehicle became airborne, overturned and came to rest.

Mackenzie R. Martin sustained minor injuries and she was treated on scene by Central Cass EMS. The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by South Cass Tow.

Mackenzie R. Martin was cited with two violations one for 1.) Driving While Intoxicated with a person under the age of 17 in the vehicle 2.) Fail to drive on the right half of the roadway.
