Joplin man seriously injured in Vernon County crash

On Monday February 13th around 1:55 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with Vernon County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident in the southbound lanes of I-49 around 3 miles south of Rich Hill.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a 2013 Chevrolet Express van driven by 29 year old Bradley S. Bryant of Joplin was traveling southbound when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned. Bryant was ejected from the vehicle.

Mr. Bryant sustained serious injuries and he was transported by air ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin for treatment.
