Memorial services will be held at St. Sabina Catholic Parish, 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, Missouri 64012. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023.
Michelle was born in Beckley, West Virginia on August 11, 1960 to J. Paul Vargo and Margaret (Lepto) Vargo. After graduating high school, Michelle furthered her education at Creighton University. She has worked at St. Joseph Medical Center for most of her career as a registered nurse, and was deeply loved by her patients and co-workers. In life, Michelle was blessed with a very giving and caring heart. She touched so many lives throughout the course of her own life, whether it was through her work or every day life. Not only was she a huge fan of Star Wars, she loved working hard and having fun. She spent much of her time taking care of others, especially her cherished family and friends.
Michelle was preceded in death by her father, J. Paul Vargo.
Here to cherish Michelle’s memory are her loving mother, Margaret Vargo; her brother, Mark (Patty) Vargo; her sisters, Denise (Jim) Wallace; and Diana Vargo; her brother, David (Jennifer) Vargo, and her nephew and nieces, Jared, Emily and Katie Vargo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The American Cancer Society in Michelle’s name OR to St. Sabina Catholic Parish.
