The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the eastbound 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 78 year old James L. Bowe of Creighton, Missouri crested a hill and struck the eastbound International Harvester Tractor driven by 33 year old Colleen F. Wisner of Clinton, Missouri, the tractor overturned ejecting the driver.
Colleen F. Wisner was transported by ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton were she was pronounced dead at 1:29 p.m. Sunday.
Mr. Bowe sustained moderate injuries and he was transported by ambulance to Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville for treatment. This is Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 16th fatality of the year 2023.
