Indiana truck driver injured in Barton County rollover accident

On Saturday April 29th around 1:46 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Barton County along with Barton County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a rollover accident in the northbound lanes of I-49 around 3 miles south of Sheldon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2017 International Prostar tractor trailer driven by 30 year old Rommel N. Slater of Gary, Indiana ran off the roadway and overturned.

Mr. Slater sustained minor injuries and he was transported to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri for treatment.
