Angela Marie "Angie" Hammond was last seen by her boyfriend at approximately 10 p.m. on April 4, 1991, as Angie dropped him off at his home in Clinton, MO following a date. Angie later called her boyfriend from a pay phone in downtown Clinton at 11:15 p.m. During the conversation, Angie spoke of an older model two-tone green truck with a fishing mural on the rear window that kept circling the block.
Angie then said the truck stopped and a bearded man in coveralls got out of the truck and was coming towards her in the phone booth. Angie screamed, and the line went dead. Angie's boyfriend told authorities he drove to the scene and was passed by the same two-tone green truck. Angie screamed his name as the truck sped by and left town. Angie has not been seen since.
