Disturbance leads to arrest in Butler

On the evening of Tuesday May 16th the Butler Police Department responded to a disturbance between neighbors in the 200 Block of South Willow Street.

When Officers arrived on scene they made contact with a resident who stated her neighbor threatened to shoot her dogs and was waving a gun around her juvenile children before being confronted by another armed neighbor.

The suspect who was identified as 40 year old Robert T. Davalos of Butler was extremely intoxicated and was arrested without incident.

Mr. Davalos was charged with a Class E Felony of Unlawful use of a weapon and he was booked into the Bates County Jail placed under a $15,000 cash/surety bond.
