The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the northbound 2004 Honda Accord driven by 35 year old Crystle N. Brown of Belton, Missouri crossed the center line on the roadway and was struck by a southbound 2010 Dodge Charger driven by 21 year old Christian A. Hanson of Kansas City, Kansas.
Crystle N. Brown along with a passenger in her vehicle 18 year old Zeraieh N. Bland of Kansas City, Missouri were both killed in this accident. Both were transported to the Jackson County Medical Examiners Office.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by Elite Tow. This is Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 28th and 29th fatalities of the year 2023.
