He was a member of the Pleasanton First Baptist Church. Jerry and Charlene enjoyed many different genres of music, performing karaoke before karaoke was around. He was a talented artists with many different interests, including, pen and in, stained glass and painting.
He and Charlene loved gardening, and had a big garden for many years. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Everett "Joe" Allison, Paul Allison, William "Buddy" Smith, and Lee Smtih. Jerry is survived by his wife, Charlene, son, Chuck Allison, two daughters, Teresa Cunningham(Page) and Leigh Ann Winnard, six grandchildren, Justin, Chloe and Levi Allison, Alicia Phillips(Mark Smith), Anthony Harrison(Trista Meyers), and Matthew Larimer, thirteen great grandchildren and one great granddaughter expected later this summer.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 1 pm to service time at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Following the visitation, the funeral service will begin at 2 pm at the Pleasanton Chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
