Scott “Scotty” Wayne Gregory, age 49 of Amsterdam, Missouri died Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born October 5, 1973 to Dennis Merl Gregory and Teresa Ilene Benjamin in Butler, Missouri.
Scotty is survived by his father, Dennis Gregory and wife Connie of Amsterdam, Missouri; his mother, Teressa Benjamin of Nevada, Missouri; his son, Corbyn Gregory of Amsterdam, Missouri and Corbyn’s maternal grandparents, Paul and Theresa Hartley of Linn Valley, Kansas; two brothers, Jeff Gregory and wife Terra of Stockton, Missouri and Josh Gregory and wife Julia of Amsterdam, Missouri; a half-brother, Wesley Johnson and wife Rhonda of Nevada, Missouri; two half-sisters, Crystal Johnson and Sandy Johnson; two uncles, Randy Gregory and wife Donna of Butler, Missouri and Brian Gregory and wife Mary of Amsterdam, Missouri; and nephews, nieces and cousins.
Scotty was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Violet Gregory and Wes and Beverly Radford; a half-sister, Shirley Johnson; a half-brother, Bobby Johnson; and an uncle, Stoney Gregory.
