Public Service Announcement from the city of Drexel

Due to our water tower getting cleaned and inspected today, you may experience some low pressure as we will be on by pass until they are completed.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

*** Update***
Thank you for your patience. We now refilling the water tower but you may still continue to have low pressure until the tower gets full. We will be on a boil advisory until testing can be done and we get the test results back, so probably until Tuesday. We will keep you posted on the test results. Thank you again for your understanding during this time.
Precautions:
Boil water vigorously for 3 minutes prior to use. Use only boiled water for drinking, brushing teeth, diluting fruit juices and all other food preparations or consumption. Use of bottled water may be a feasible, though relatively expensive, alternative to boiling tap water when under a boil advisory. Do not use ice from a household automatic icemaker or use any ice made with unboiled water from this system. Remake ice cubes with water that has been boiled or buy ice. Disinfect dishes and other food contact surfaces by immersion for at least one minute in clean tap water that contains one teaspoon of unscented household bleach per gallon of water. Let water cool sufficiently before drinking
