Saturday morning accident in Virginia

On Saturday May 20th around 10:02 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies, Bates County EMS and Butler Fire Department responded to a two vehicle accident at Missouri 52 Highway and State Route V in Virginia.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 21 year old Daniel F. Coetzee of South Africa struck the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 92 year old James E. Gladbach of Deerfield, Missouri.

Mr. Gladbach sustained minor injuries in this accident and he will seek his own medical treatment at a later time.
