On Sunday night May 22nd around 9:27 p.m. The Nevada Fire Department B Shift was dispatched to a residential structure fire, with fire in the bedroom in the 400 block of East Hickory.
Upon arrival the homeowner was able to get the fire out in time before it could extended to the rest of the bedroom material.
The cause of the fire was a candle that came in contact with a towel that was covering the window.
