Morrell had active felony warrants out of the state of Washington since 2020 for 4 counts of Child Molestation in the First Degree.
On 5/11/23 the Bourbon County Sheriff’s Office were able to track down Morrell to a rural area of Bourbon County.
Mr. Morrell fled from law enforcement and Bourbon County Deputies, with assistance from the Fort Scott Police Department, were able to get Morrell into custody after a short manhunt.

Morrell is currently awaiting extradition back to Pierce County, Washington.
