The boys along with boat captain Bob Healey had the winning weight of 12.12 and won 1st place. There were 64 teams that competed in the PTA (Pro-Team Association) Championship. Over $15,000 in Scholarships, Gift Cards and Payouts were Awarded for this PTA.
National Youth Fishing Association created fishing circuits for Middle and High School Fishing Clubs. Three qualifying tournaments in each state division with a championship in June.
This will be a great opportunity for the students to hone their skills with a competitive edge and promote the sport of bass fishing to young anglers. Hunter is the son of Ashley Healey and Brent and Maria Kelso, Brayden is the son of Josh and Amanda Jackson.
