Garden City man escapes serious injury in Henry County crash

On Monday June 19th around 10:15 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County along with Henry County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on NE CR 501 at NE CR 400 in rural Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the northbound 2012 Kia Soul driven by 53 year old David L. Sidwell of Garden City, Missouri traveled off the west side of the roadway, down an embankment and struck a tree.

Mr. Sidwell sustained minor injuries and he was transported by Golden Valley EMS to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton for treatment. The Kia received extensive damages and it was towed from the scene of this accident by Gary's Tow.
