Please welcome Kate Gronquist as the Prairie View High School Principal

"I am thrilled to join the Prairie View School District community as the principal of Prairie View High School. I am the interim principal and activities director at Ruppenthal Middle School in Russell, KS. Previously, I served as a Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) teacher and Career and Technical Education Coordinator at Council Grove Jr/Sr. High School and spent one year as an FCS teacher and cheer coach at Ulysses High School.

I have a bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Kansas State University - Go Cats!

I am a lifelong learner who was raised by two teachers. I believe in setting ambitious goals, capitalizing on individual strengths, and celebrating successes both big and small along the way.

I look forward to continuing a strong school culture, supporting all students in their journey to post-secondary success, and meeting all of you!"
