Update: Butler man seriously injured in rollover accident near Butler City Lake

On Tuesday June 20th around 8:00 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies, Bates County EMS and Butler Fire Department responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on 52 West Highway near CR 6001 in rural Butler.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the eastbound 2010 Kia Forte driven by 42 year old Nicholas J. Armentrout of Butler, Missouri traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned.

Mr. Armentrout sustained serious injuries and he was transported by Life Flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of this crash R&B Tow of Butler.
