Jody was born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 17th 1958 to Cecile and Raymond Bigler. In 1974 her parents moved to Deepwater, Missouri to be closer to family. Jody Faye attended school with her siblings at Lakeland and graduated in May of 1977. Jody later moved to Clinton and married Donnie Cox. She raised a big family of 6 children, Crystal, Jeremy, Jamey, Matthew, Benjiman and Rachel. She was a mom to many of her children’s friends. She opened the door and her heart to many of them.
Jody worked at Rivals for several years as a line boss. She had many hobbies like crocheting, card games, cooking and watching westerns like her father. She had a love for the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing and camping with her kids. Being a grandma and great grandma was something she was proud of. She loved all her babies and her dog Molley.
Jody lived in Nevada, Missouri with her daughter Rachel and her fiancé Cody Waldrop and family. Together they spent time cooking out, camping and fishing.
She is preceded in death by her parents Cecile and Raymond Bigler, her daughter Crystal Cox and granddaughter Angelique Cox.
Survivors include her children Jeremy Cox, Jamey Cox, Matthew Cox, Benjiman Cox and Rachel Cox, her siblings, Vivian (Kenneth) Kasper, Fred (Sherri) Bigler and Susan Bigler, along with numerous nieces, nephews and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
