Happening Now: Accident involving semi truck and train in Cass County

Happening now in Cass County...

The Cass County Sheriff's Office is assisting the Missouri State Highway Patrol with an accident investigation involving an train and semi truck in the area of E. 187th east of Holmes Road near Belton.

There are no reported hazards to the surrounding area, however people are urged to avoid the area. The train did not derail and remained on the tracks.
