Obituary - Delores Mae Enos

Delores Mae Enos, 69, of Adrian, Missouri passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Memorial service will be on Thursday August 17, 2023 at 10:00am at Adrian United Methodist Church in Adrian Missouri, with a visitation on Wednesday August 16 from 6:00-8:00pm at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Adrian Historical Society.

Delores Mae Enos was born December 27, 1953, to Leonard Blane Yocum and Doris Marie Hood in Kansas City, MO. She attended Ray-Pec School where she graduated with the class of 1972. Delores spent over 30 years working as a title officer at the Bates County Abstract and Title. 

After a 25 year courtship with Frank Enos they were married on November 10, 2022. She spent time tending to her flowers and pets and often times looking out for the neighbors' animals as well. She enjoyed genealogy and local history as she was a part of the Adrian Historical Society. 

Delores was a member of the United Methodist Church who helped to lead the Women's Prayer Group. She was an avid reader who read all types of genres. She loved to make people laugh usually by displaying her recent keepsake she purchased or telling one of her subtle humor jokes. Delores especially loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with them and spoiling them every chance she got.

Delores Mae Enos is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis "Frank" Enos; and a sister, Patsy Lou Seward. She is survived by sons, Will Stark of Adrian, MO and David (Amy) Stark of Lee's Summit, MO; daughter Amanda Freeman of Larned, Kansas; stepdaughter Chali (Nick) Mendoza of League City, TX, brothers, Leo Yocum and Herb Yocum; brother-in-laws: Tim (Debby) Enos, Paul (Cheryl) Enos, Andy (Lisa) Enos; Sister-in-laws, Marsha (Don) Amos and Melinda (Mark) Elmer; Grandchildren Trey Fenton, Jay Freeman, Chris Freeman, Adalynn Stark, Jace Stark; step-grandson Travis Kingman and his daughter Lilyanna Kingman and many nephews and nieces.
