Kerry was born September 22, 1970 in Ottumwa, Iowa the son of Larry Eugene Klobnak and Wilma Jean Barnett Klobnak. He attended school in Albia, Iowa. While in school he was a member of the All-Star baseball team. After school he enlisted in the United States Navy and served for two years. He was a welder and fire fighter while in the service. After the service he worked for Ideal Tool and Key Hydraulics, both in Sedalia. He loved to fish, mushroom hunt and was willing to help anyone in need. He would spend hours looking for arrowheads and other Indian artifacts. He could see the fun in any situation. There was never a dull moment when he was around. Kerry found Jesus later in his life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Mildred Klobnak and Frank and Helen Barnett.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Wilma and Bill Collins of Tightwad, Missouri; his father Larry Klobnak of Albia, Iowa; three sons, Patrick Klobnak, Daniel Klobnak, Conner Klobnak, and his daughter Finley Klobnak all of Sedalia, Missouri; two brothers, Chris Klobnak and wife, Kay and nephew, Zach, all of Albia, Iowa, Travis Klobnak of Albia, Iowa, his aunt Deb (James) Sampson and family of Blakesburg, Iowa, and uncle Terry (Carol) Barnett and family of Macon, Missouri.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
