Larry was born on June 24, 1957 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Joe Duncan and Julia Lucille (Flannery) Duncan. Larry graduated from Grandview Senior High School and honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. For over 20 years Larry worked as a lumberman, at Owens Lumber Co. in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Larry was a man of his word and spent countless hours helping friends and neighbors with anything they needed done. He loved sports and was an avid Kansas City Royals and Chiefs fan.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Joe Duncan, brother Eddie Paul Duncan, and beloved, most amazing caregiver Carol Lee Templeton.
Larry is survived by two children, Terese Duncan and Kyle Duncan. Three grandchildren, Chyaira Duncan, Benjamin Duncan, Alice Duncan, and one great grandchild, Kaiden Duncan. Two bonus children, Derek (Tiffany) Templeton, and Dixie Templeton; and grandchildren, Macenna, Angel, Lillian, Hunter, Asher, and Arabella.
His mother Julia Lucille Duncan, two brothers, Richard (Gail) Duncan, Robert Duncan (Naomi). Four sisters, Louise Duncan, Carol Duncan (Dan), Susan (Glenn) Powell, and Sandra (Kent) Hayes. As well as many extended family members aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083 on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. A private inurnment will be held on a later date.
