He graduated from high school and joined the United States Army, then attended college later in life with his son. Ronald married Adelaide Helen Hinkley on February 27, 1965 in Skowhegan, Maine, to this union two sons were born, Ronald Leslie Greene and Timothy Greene. Helen preceded Ronald in death July 28, 2020. Ronald then married Barbara Hammond on March 5, 2021.
Ronald was an established craftsman in woodworking, working with chainmail and scroll saws; working the intricate details was a passion of his. He loved traveling, once driving a motorhome up into Alaska, motorcycling and owning 3 or 4 Harleys over the years, he also enjoyed collecting. He had a Christmas elf costume that he loved to wear, even wearing it into the police station on occasion. Ronald was an onery person who absolutely loved life.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Helen. Ronald is survived by his wife, Barbara, two sons, Leslie Greene and Timothy Greene, a sister, Sandra Stokes, a brother, Dennis Greene, one grandchild, Ronald Leslie Greene III and one great grandchild, Ronald Leslie Greene IV. There are no services scheduled at this time.
