About Chef Cory:
Chef Cory Cazzelle has returned home to Butler alongside his friend and cohort Jeff Steiner. After Spending 22 years as the Manager/Head Chef at the Flaming Lantern Cory moved to Stillwater Oklahoma. In 2013 he secured a Sous Chef position at the Rancher’s Club, a place known for a mix of good home cooking, fabulous steaks, and fine dining on the campus of Oklahoma State University.
By 2014 he ascended to the position of Chef de Cuisine and piloted The Ranchers Club to its most prosperous years to date. In 2017 Chef decided to take his skills straight to the students and oversaw food service in 17 fraternity and sorority houses on the campus of OSU, producing over 4000 meals daily. Many of those old Lantern favorites showed up on their menus and were very popular among the students. In 2022,
Cory headed for the mountains of Wyoming to accept the position of Executive Chef in training at Saratoga Hot Springs Resort. Shortly after completing the training program, the opportunity to return to Butler and reopen/rebrand the Lantern was presented by Jeff.
Cory is excited to be back in Butler to share all he has learned on his journey. Bringing quality home cooking, fantastic steaks and bbq along with a touch of fine dining are what he is passionate about.
