Nevada man injured in Vernon County motorcycle crash

On Friday September 22nd around 5:05 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with Vernon County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle motorcycle accident on Pawhuska Road 1 mile Southwest of Nevada.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa Motorcycle ridden by 36 year old Steven Hyde of Nevada Missouri struck a dog in the roadway.

Mr. Hyde sustained moderate injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Nevada Regional Medical Center in Nevada for medical treatment.
