He leaves behind his childhood sweetheart and wife of 62 years Faith; his sister Sue Ann Morris, son Tracy (Kim) Rollins; his daughter Robin (Scott) Williams; grandchildren Robbie, Mickey, Katie and Josh; great grandchild Finley and one great grandchild on the way, Abby; and many loving friends.
Larry was a graduate of Rosedale High School, class of 1959. He began his career as a Journeyman Lineman and Safety Coordinator at KCPL and retired after 32 years.
He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Overland Park and he loved sharing his faith in Jesus Christ with others.
Larry was dedicated to his family, a loving husband, father and Papa. His hobbies included fishing, woodworking, air gunning, and entertaining others with his fun-loving humor. Everyone loved Larry.
The Visitation is at Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, KS Monday, September 25 at 1:00 to 2:00 PM with the funeral 2:00 to 3:00 PM. Interment to follow the service.
