Myrtle “Mert” Evelyn Sherman, age 90 of Butler, Missouri passed away at her home Sunday, September 10, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born July 10, 1933 to Lester Everett and Sylvia Rose Warren Miller in Amoret, Missouri.
Mert is survived by two daughters, Tammy Brown of Butler, Missouri and Sandy Johnston and husband Kip of Amsterdam, Missouri; five grandchildren, Linsey Klinksick and husband Chad, Kristi Bridges, Leean Hannah and husband Justin, Amber Berwald and husband Michael and Keith Brown and fiancé Taylor; eight great-grandchildren, Kody, Maddox, Kennisen, Kamden, Kya, Ashlynn, Bronson and Knolan; and a brother, Frank Miller of Belton, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roland Keith Sherman; a sister, Kay Akana; an infant sister, Barbara Miller; and four brothers, Lester “Red” Miller, Jim Miller, Osborne Miller and Harold “Blackie” Miller.
