Quentin attended Nevada High School where he graduated with the Class of 1980. For a number of years, he worked for Berry’s Ice Company in Kansas City. He then received his LPN License which began a long career in healthcare. Quentin worked for Nevada Nursing and Rehab for many years, and most recently provided transportation for West Central clients in the area.
Survivors include a daughter, Alex Otter, Nevada; granddaughter, Icelyn Crall, Nevada; a brother, Mark Otter (Donna), Warrensburg, MO; two sisters, Ann Horst (Dean), Amsterdam, MO, and Dolores Otter, Ft. Scott, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Otter; four brothers, Jerry Otter, Leon Otter, James Otter and an infant brother, Richard Otter.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
