State Farm Student Athlete of the week

We are excited to announce this weeks Athlete of the Week, Kaden Sutton! Kaden was nominated by Coach Smith after a great win last Friday, "Kaden had a tremendous night for us last week. He had 6 carries for 157 yards, 4 rushing touchdowns, 1 catch for 43 yards and a touchdown. He also had 10 tackles and 1 interception on defense." Kaden is a senior at Archie High School. He is involved in football and basketball. He is a running back for Archie’s football team. We asked Kaden what he believes it takes to become an elite athlete. He told us, "a lot of hard work. You have to be very dedicated." Kaden’s favorite athlete is Barry Sanders. He loved watching how explosive he was, his quickness and ability to shift, and just how he represents what Kaden does.

*Each week the athlete is awarded with a certificate and a gift card to Sonic. Each Athlete of the Week will be considered for one $500 scholarship which will be awarded in May.
