Harrisonville School District is pleased to announce two administrative changes for the 2024-25 school year

The Harrisonville School District is pleased to announce two administrative changes for the 2024-25 school year. Dr. Beth Love, principal at McEowen Elementary Wildcats, will be the new principal at Harrisonville Early Childhood Center Wildcats taking over for Becky Campbell who is retiring at the end of the year. Dr. Tricia Falke, principal at Harrisonville Elementary Wildcats, will be the new principal at McEowen Elementary School.

Dr. Love is in her sixth year as principal at McEowen Elementary School. She came to Harrisonville from the Warsaw School District where she served as principal of both Ruth Mercer and North Elementary Schools for one and a half years and prior to that was principal at Ruth Mercer Elementary for three years. Before becoming a principal in Warsaw, she served as a teacher for two years, first as a classroom teacher and then as a Title I teacher. She started teaching in 2004 in the Midway School District where she taught for seven years.
 
Dr. Love earned her bachelor of arts in elementary education from Graceland University. She has a master’s degree in Elementary Education Administration from the University of Central Missouri and her Doctor of Education in Education Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri. Dr. Love is married to Dustin and they have two children, Sadie and Maggie.
 
Dr. Falke has served as the principal at HES since July 2021 and for three years prior to that, she was the assistant principal at the school.

Dr. Falke began her career as a paraprofessional in the Grandview School District and then worked as focus facilitator in Lee’s Summit. Her teaching experience includes 13 years in the Lee’s Summit and Liberty school districts.

She has a bachelor’s degree in business from Friends University, a master’s degree in education, an educational specialist in educational administration from the University of Central Missouri, and a doctorate in urban leadership administration and special policies in education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Dr. Falke is married to Chris and they have three children, Alexandra, Raegan, and Cole. Both Dr. Love and Dr. Falke will officially transition to their new positions on July 1, 2024. Congratulations to both Dr. Love & Dr. Falke!
