Obituary - Vaneta A. Beeson

Vaneta Alberta Beeson of Peculiar, Missouri was born December 14, 1938 in Macon, Missouri the daughter of Albert and Erma (Jargow) Ettner. She departed this life on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Golden Years Center for Rehab and Healthcare, Harrisonville, Missouri surrounded by love and family at the age of 84 years, 11 months and 8 days. She had been at Golden Years Center for Rehab and Healthcare for 22 days.

On march 24, 1956 Vaneta was united in marriage to Goldman Kermit Beeson in Atlanta, Missouri.

Vaneta was employed as a payroll clerk for the Marine Corp Finance Center, Kansas City, Missouri until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of Antioch Southern Baptist Church, Harrisonville, Missouri. She was a member of Red Bridge Baptist Church for 22 years where she enjoyed working in the nursery and helping with bible school. Vaneta liked going to the lake, boating, water skiing, riding mopeds, playing cards, games and traveling. She especially looked forward to Fridays going to garage sales with her neighbor. Vaneta had lived in Grandview, Missouri before moving to Peculiar in 2003.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Loretta Morris.

She is survived by her husband, Kermit Beeson of the home; a son, Kenneth Beeson, Harrisonville, Missouri; her brother, Martin Ettner, Moberly, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with internment at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville, Missouri.

Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
