On 12/23 at approximately 2215 hours the Harrisonville Fire Department was dispatched to the 800 Blk of Locust St on a reported residential structure fire. On arrival crews found smoke coming from the front door. Crews made entry and extinguished fire quickly. Occupant was able to safely evacuate the residence prior to FD arrival. No injuries were reported. Strong work C Shift!
Also thanks to the Central Cass FPD and West Peculiar FPD for mutual aid assistance, Harrisonville Missouri Police Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol for traffic control and scene assistance with displaced residents. Cause is still under investigation.
