The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the westbound 2016 Kia Forte driven by 19 year old Gauge R. Boyd of Nevada, Missouri ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a metal post.
Mr. Boyd sustained minor injuries and he was transported by ambulance to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
