Tony was born December 27, 1967, in Turner, KS to William Martin and Betty Lou (Denning) Barnes. He was a high school graduate and worked as a mechanic. He married Geneva Mitchell, and she survives. Tony enjoyed working on vehicles, fishing and driving. He loved FORDs but loved his grandchildren the most.
In addition to Geneva Barnes, he is survived by his children; Kelvin (Stephanie) Barnes, Siloam Springs, AR, Bobby (Jolena) Barnes, Siloam Springs, AR, Chris (Amanda) Barnes, Nevada, MO, Steven Barnes, Kansas, Debra (Therron) Stewart, San Antonio, TX and Betty (Kenneth) Barnes, Decatur, AR; 29 grandchildren; brothers, Marvin (Amy) Barnes, Nevada, MO and Robert Barnes, Stotesbury, MO; one sister, Karen Brillhart, Texas.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Anthony Barnes, two brothers, Wayne Barnes and Martin Barnes, and a granddaughter, Addie Stewart.
The funeral service will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Ferry Funeral Home.
