Peculiar man injured in Cass County crash

On Sunday January 28th around 9:20 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident in the northbound lanes of I-49 near mile marker 172 in rural Cass County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the northbound 2011 Ford driven by 22 year old Brenden A. Dick of Peculiar, Missouri left the roadway, struck a crossover and became airborne and coming to rest in the median.

Brenden A. Dick sustained moderate injuries and he was transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center for treatment.
