Jo was born on October 27, 1944, in Jefferson City. Emma was a beloved mother and grandmother, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Jo had a strong faith and enjoyed reading scripture, puzzling and spending time with her family and friends – and watching the occasional few westerns.
Jo married Christopher Dee Moree on May 11, 2011, and they had a loving and supportive marriage. They raised cattle and are proud members of the Christian Motorcycle Association where Jo served as secretary for many years.
Jo had three daughters from a previous marriage and is survived by her spouse, Christopher Moree of Deepwater Missouri.
Jo was predeceased by her parents, her daughter Pamula Jo Golden and her husband James David Golden and brother Michael Thomas Baxter. She is survived by Children, Donna Marie Son (David Beidel), and Vicki Sue Schrick (Robert). Grandchildren, Jamie Jo Golden, (John Mehling), Jessica Dawn Golden (Blake Snyder) Derrik Mitchele Wiggins, Nicholas Giles Wigggins and Dalton Gregory Son (Tina). Great-Grandchildren Jack Bennett Mehling, Joella James Mehling, Reina Marie Cagle, and Beckett Marie Snyder and sibling Russell Edward Baxter, Other Family Members include Chris Moree Jr., Jason Moree, Philip Beidel, and Noah Moree, and life-long friends Denna Davis, Mary Thompson and Sheryl Seevers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
