Mary Ellen Lewis, age 96 of Amsterdam, Missouri died Sunday, April 21, 2024 at her home. She was born August 3, 1927 to George Douglas Baker and Montez Edith Long Baker in Granby, Missouri.
Mary is survived by four sons, Lee Lewis and wife Kathy of Amsterdam, Missouri, Wayne Lewis and wife Phyllis of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, Paul Lewis of Denison, Texas and Timothy Lewis of Tucson, Arizona; four daughters, Cecelia Greer of Wichita Falls, Texas, Gail Smith and husband Howard of Denison, Texas, Susan Hughes of Collinsville, Texas and Amy Lewis of Amsterdam, Missouri; 19 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Cecil Lewis; three brothers, Winfred Baker, J.D. Baker and Pat Baker; and four sisters, Opal Guidi, Elgie Kenney, Connie Baker and Doris Logan.
