Sheldon woman injured in Vernon County crash

On Friday April 26th around 10:50 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with Vernon County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on N Highway around one mile west of Sheldon, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the southbound 2013 Cadillac DTS driven by 65 year old Cathy J. Stonebraker of Sheldon, Missouri ran off the right side of the road and struck a fence and an embankment.

Cathy J. Stonebraker sustained moderate injuries and she was transported to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri for treatment.
